July 13, 2008

I was on my way to a Halloween party at the high school when Echo (Tim and Michelle's cat) showed up. In my dream, Tim and Michelle were living in Summit Valley, but I still found it strange that Echo would walk all that way to find me. He kept following me, so I decided to bring him along, thinking that I would just walk him home after the party. When we arrived Echo had suddenly grown to the size of a sheep, so I began riding him down the halls. A lot of people at the party had dressed up as Belle and the Beast from "Beauty and the Beast". Nikki walked by me, and I saw that she was dressed like Napolean Dynamite.

As Echo and I entered one of the classrooms we saw a play was in progress. At the moment we entered the room, we became part of the play. Elijah Wood, the two brownies from "Willow", a giraffe, a few wolves, a lion, a fox, and some crabs were all starring in the play. We were all running along a path through the woods, because something was chasing us. There was a fork in the path, and we all split up. On the path my group took, there were giant boulders rolling towards us, which we had to dodge. Suddenly the rocks turned into roasted chickens, which made them much less frightening.

When we all finally reached a highway we noticed a barn sitting next to the road, and decided to take pictures with the farm animals. After that, the play was over so me and Echo left the room and entered the gym where everyone was gathering. The school band was playing, and I suddenly realized that I was supposed to be playing with them, but I'd forgotten my instrument. I tried to sneak out without them noticing, but one of the band members spotted me and said that she was going to inform the instructor that I was leaving early.

I made it outside and decided that this was a good time to leave for home. I called Miya to see if she could give me a ride to Summit Valley, since it was late and I didn't want to walk the entire way to take Echo home. When she answered her phone she told me that she'd been playing video games all day, and was too tired. She told me that Summit Valley was only 2 blocks away, but I corrected her, saying that the Library was 2 blocks away. After a minute or so, I told her it was fine and I'd just walk him home, and hung up the phone. I didn't want to ride Echo anymore, because I was afraid I'd hurt his back if I did it for too long, so we started walking. As we were going through town, two boys on bicycles rode past us. When they were behind us, I turned around to make sure Echo hadn't followed them. Afterward, we were passing by the church, and I decided now was a good time to get my temple recommend.
